Good afternoon to you, friends! We are in the midst of a VERY snowy Monday here in Seattle, and it's been quite the adventure for us.

As of this writing we are at $8,413 pledged: 93% of my goal, 150 project backers, with just $587 to go! I am THRILLED. Can we raise it that last bit to $9,000 today, do you think? There are further plans being made behind the scenes and I would love to show them to you.
And! For those of you who don't yet know of my Facebook musician page (Sunnie Larsen, Musician), some very exciting news: I've been chosen as the International Guest of Honor at DemiSemiQuaver, the 32nd Annual UK Filk Convention, February 7-9 2020! It's an incredible honor to be asked, and I am so excited that my very first GoH spot as a solo artist will be at UK Filk. I attended a few years ago and had the best time. (The UK GoH will be Annie Griffith, who is a powerhouse musician in her own right, and we are already plotting Shenanigans of the first order.)
More to come tonight... hopefully the further campaign plans can come to light, if we cross those last few percent to $9,000!

Because of all of you, I have had an amazing first day--we're 21 hours in and at 83%, only $1516 from achieving my goal! I never dreamed we'd make this much progress in this amount of time.
I can't thank you enough for your support. Asking my community for help to make this dream come true is an incredibly scary and vulnerable thing, and you have stepped forward and shown me that I can do this and we can do this together. I will be forever grateful for your faith in me!
This album is a huge step forward in my musicianship. I love playing my violin and singing backup with all sorts of groups and in all kinds of music, but arranging songs and writing my own lyrics to sing is a skill I'm still working to improve. I've come a long way, and there's still further to go. I'm really proud of what I've accomplished here and I think you're going to love what you hear.
Someone asked yesterday about how to back more than one reward, and that is a good thought! The chord & lyrics coloring book is currently only included at the $40 level, the $250 Full-Length Instrumental pack level, the (already gone!) $400 ALL THE THINGS level, and the $600 ALL THE THINGS + HOUSE CONCERT level, so if you want one of those and it isn't on the level where you backed you can add $15 to your pledge to get it.
I'll be posting more "how we got here" for the album and stories about the songs soon. Thank you again for choosing to come along on my adventure! This album is going to happen! I'm so excited!!
